When to choose DWC
Gravity-flow sewerage, stormwater drainage, cable ducting, industrial effluent. Deep burial and Class A traffic handled by SN8 class with proper bedding.
When RCC is still used
Very large diameters above 1200 mm, certain culvert and box-section applications, and legacy specifications. For 75–1000 mm gravity flow, DWC HDPE is the modern choice and is what's being adopted across Indian smart-city and sewerage projects.
